Description

This is an original Grado leather headband in black or brown for Grado labs high-end series like GS, PS, RS and Hemp series. The headband is built with 3 layers of cow leather and 2 layers of foam padding, stainless steel band and original Grado lockers. It is designed to repair to repair or upgrade old Grado headband, or DIY Grado-like headphones. You can also order the DIY kit with all components separated and assemble/customize it by your self – scroll down and see the DIY tutorial.

You can also choose following original Grado gimbals if you want to replace the old ones.

Following are 100% compatible Grado models we’ve verified with. You can directly replace the headband with this product.

In the package

The kit include following components: 

• Headband with lockers in black or brown. You can choose a DIY kit with the leather band, the stainless steel band and the lockers separated, or all assembled. 
• (optional) Original Grado gimbals with screws 
• (optional) Grado cushions to replace your old ones

DIY Tutorial

This tutorial shows you how to assemble the Grado headband. It takes 5~10min and you will need only some instant dry glue, which we’d recommend Egro 5210. See below pic for the components incl.: the leather band, the stainless steel band, 2 pairs of lockers (core, upper cover with L/R label and undercover).

Step 1, pull the steel band through the leather band:

Step 2, glue the core to the steel band.

Step 3, glue the under cover and put in 2 damping rings

Last step, glue the upper cover and done
